The solar gateway and monitoring software independently developed by BillionWatts have passed the Taipower DREAMS test successively, can be connected with Taipower DREAMS and meet the requirements of Taipower DNP3.0 protocol. It can accept the dispatch of Taipower and return the power generation information in time to ensure the quality of the power supply.

SG6300NZL R2 Smart Monitoring Solar Gateway

SG6300NZL R2 is an essential hub of BillionWatts’ Pixel View solar intelligent cloud AI monitoring system. The hardware specifications are industrial-grade heat-resistant design. A single device can receive multiple sensor data (including module thermometer, Atmospheric temperature, Anemometer, and Pyranometer) through standard protocols such as Modbus RTU and TCP and supports various brands of Inverter data reading and DC array/AC meter information.


The wired network or 3G/4G network can be selected for data transmission to the Internet, and the data collected by the power station can be seamlessly transmitted to the back-end management platform, providing a comprehensive PV monitoring and transmission solution.

According to Taipower's latest announcement, in response to the availability of field connection capabilities for distributed-level renewable energy monitoring equipment testing and management regulations, Taipower has begun a trial implementation of inspections and statistics of daily hourly return data, which will start on 112/7/3 officially.

During the trial period (112/3/6-112/7/2)

  1. At 0:00 every morning, the system would conduct practical statistics.
  2. If the practicality of your site is lower than 95% after the statistics, the system will automatically send a notification to you for improvement.
  3. On the 1st of every month, a system notification letter will be sent to the sites where the overall practicality in the previous month reached less than 95%.
  4. During the trial period, there will be no penalties for sites with a practicality lower than 95%.

After the official implementation (after 112/7/2)

  1. At 0:00 every morning, the system will conduct practicality statistics.
  2. If the practicality of your site is lower than 95% after the statistics, the system will automatically send a notification to you for improvement.
  3. On the 1st of every month, a system notification letter will be sent to the sites where the overall practicality in the previous month was less than 95%.
  4. Suppose the average practicality of this site is lower than 95% this month, in that case, Taipower will give a penalty according to the provisions of Article 13 of the power generation system power purchase agreement.
